Dr. Deepti Kumari, Professor, Department of Political Science, Patna University, Patna is basically an educationist. She has been awarded the prestigious fellowship of University Grants Commission and Indian Council of Social Science Research. Her academic career started with teaching training. She has been selected and worked as a first class officer in many states. She has long experience of research work in University Grants Commission’s research project and Patna University. Her area of ​​specialization is Indian Politics, International Relations and Women’s Studies. She has published many books and research papers.

She has a keen interest in literature, films and art. She has won a state level award in painting and has written and recited hundreds of poems as a poetess.
